Hosted by Martin Engineering Turkey, the Conveyor Safety and Productivity Symposium introduced strategies and innovations for improving safety, while enhancing profitability.
Martin Engineering, a worldwide leader in bulk materials handing technology, has announced the retirement of Chief Technical Director Todd Swinderman as of December 31, 2011.
Scheduled to open in late 2011, the new Martin Engineering building will house 8,000 square meters (~86,100 square feet) of manufacturing and warehouse operations and 2,000 square meters (~21,500 square feet) of office space.
A biomass-powered 20 MW generating station has specified a totally-enclosed, air-supported conveyor system to feed its new woodchip-fired block, achieving exceptional control of fugitive materials in the strong winds common to its North Sea location.
With the acquisition of Cougar Industries, Martin Engineering will be able to more actively pursue worldwide vibrator applications, especially 12 & 24 volt models used on mobile equipment, which is one of Cougar’s strengths.
