_{Engineering Technician:}

The Engineering Technician assists in researching and designing new products, and details engineering drawings of all types using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD LT and SolidWorks while following Martin Engineering and ISO 9001:2000 quality standards.

Essential functions of this job include:

• Produce engineering drawings to current standards
• Enters and maintains part numbers and bills of material in Fourth Shift MRP
• Assists in creating work routings and drawing associations
• Researches and designs products per specific customer requests
• Performs engineering change requests
• Creates proposals and sales drawings

Experience/Educational Requirements:

• Two-year degree in Computer Aided Design/drafting
• Two or more years of work experience in Solidworks. Certified SolidWorks Professional preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer software.  Required software:  Microsoft Office, SolidWorks,  and AutoCAD LT
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
