MARTIN SERVICES TECHNICIAN

Worldwide leading manufacturer of conveyor products and flow aid devices currently seeks a high-energy, self-motivated Martin Services Technician in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment. This position will service southern Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin. Ideal location for candidate is the Twin Cities area.

This position is responsible for servicing and installing a wide variety of Martin products. This role provides ongoing service to Martin customers through periodic inspection and maintenance of Martin equipment. This position also has the responsibility to develop new customers while maintaining existing relationships. Position requires 100% travel with limited overnight travel.

To qualify for this position you must have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Five or more years of work related technical experience
• Welding certification
• MSHA Training
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication skills, and be computer literate

The Regional Service Manager is responsible for planning, directing, supervising, and assisting direct and indirect labor in the Midwest region.  This position manages field crews and sub-contract labor to meet customers' requirements.  This position performs project management duties and various services that will generate additional systems sales; performs on-site evaluations and generates proposals for all Martin products and services including advanced conveyor technologies.  This role is responsible for the safety and performance of installation and maintenance crews at customer sites.  This role is a sales support function and requires regular travel and interaction with the Regional Business Development Manager and Territory Managers as requested.

Experience/Educational Requirements:

• Four-year degree in Business or Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of industry-related experience.
• Three or more years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Two years experience in Lean Enterprise environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, and be computer literate

Territory Sales Manager - Texas

Leading global manufacturer of conveyor products and flow aid devices is seeking a qualified candidate for an exciting career as a Territory Sales Manager in Texas.  This opportunity requires selling engineered systems, products and services directly to industrial end user accounts and calling on customer contacts at all levels. Additional responsibilities would include training and travel with select resale account personnel for complete territory coverage.  Our primary markets include Cement, Coal Fired Power Generation, Metals and Nonmetals Mining, Pulp/Paper, Pet-Coke, Aggregate, and Process industries.  Overnight travel required within the state of Texas to successfully achieve annual sales goals.

To qualify for this position you must have:

•  BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marketing, Technical Degree;
•  Five or more years experience in our primary markets;
•  Two plus years of Belt Conveyor and/or Bulk Material Handling experience;
•  Previous industrial sales experience and industry contacts;
•  Project Management & Industrial Service experience;
•  Previous dealer/resale network development experience;
•  Self-directed team player spirit and top earner in Industrial Sales;
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, presentation skills, and be computer literate
