Incorporated in Illinois, Martin Engineering is privately held by the heirs of Edwin F. Peterson. Serving as Chairman of the Board is Edwin H. Peterson, son of the founder. Active in the business since 1951, Mr. Peterson's primary areas of interest and expertise are product development and marketing.

Scott Hutter serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Martin Engineering. Mr. Hutter joined the company in 2004 after previously serving as Senior Vice President for KONE Elevator and Escalator, Moline, Illinois. He holds a business administration degree from Augustana College.

R. Todd Swinderman is Chief Technology Officer and serves on the Board of Directors. A registered professional engineer, Mr. Swinderman holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He joined the company in 1979, became General Manager in 1982 and served as President from 1987 through 2003.
